ChefAI is an AI-powered cooking platform that generates personalized recipes based on available ingredients, dietary preferences, and skill level.

The Challenge

People waste food because they do not know what to cook with ingredients they already have. Existing recipe apps require searching through thousands of recipes. ChefAI needed to flip this — start with what you have and generate what to make.

• AI recipe generation — input your available ingredients and get personalized recipes with step-by-step instructions
• Dietary preferences — filters for vegan, keto, gluten-free, allergies, and nutritional goals
• Meal planning — weekly meal plans generated based on preferences and budget
• Smart grocery lists — auto-generated shopping lists based on meal plans, with store aisle organization
• Skill-based recipes — difficulty levels from beginner to advanced, with technique tutorials
• Nutritional tracking — calories, macros, and micronutrients for each recipe

Tech Stack
