What every home-service site needs
The six trades have more in common than they think. The differences are written down below, so skip to yours.
Someone with a leak under the sink isn't reading your site on a desktop. They're on a phone, probably standing in the puddle, and you've got maybe ten minutes of their attention. So the number goes in the header, every page, and it dials when tapped. There's one service-area page with a map and the towns you drive to. The license number is somewhere a person can actually find it. The photos are yours: your trucks, your crew, the jobs you finished last month. Never stock. And the quote form asks for what you need to price the job, nothing extra.
Where the trades part ways is in which pages carry the load, what the busy season does to the homepage, and whether Spanish is worth adding. Hence the sections below. Prices don't change by trade; they're on the prices page. Not one of these six? Start from web design in Phoenix instead.
Plumber website design
Plumbing calls are urgent, and nearly all of them start on a phone. One job for the site, then: make the number impossible to miss, and show in a couple of seconds that you fix this kind of problem, in this town.
What the site must have
- Your number in the header, every page, as a tap-to-call link with the hours next to it. If you take emergency calls, that's where it says so. Nobody scrolls three screens to find out whether you'll come out at 11pm.
- A page per thing people type into Google. Water heaters get one, drains get one, leaks, repipes. The single long services list is quicker to write, sure, and it ranks for nothing in particular.
- Your Arizona ROC license number, written out. Photos of your own trucks and your own jobs; a stock photo of a grinning plumber costs you trust you can't buy back.
- A service-area page with the Valley cities you really drive to, and a map, so people see straight away that you cover their town.
What it costs
A one- or two-truck shop fits Launch at $1,490: home, two service pages, service area and contact, live within seven days of getting your content. Want a page per service and a site you edit yourself? That's Business at $5,900.
HVAC website design
An HVAC site in the Valley has two lives. June through September it's an AC-repair site. The other eight months it sells tune-ups and replacements. It has to do both without a redesign in between.
What the site must have
- A repair page that opens on the call button, with a short "here's what happens when we arrive", so a homeowner sweating through a July afternoon picks you over the next result.
- A maintenance-plan page: what a tune-up actually includes and what it costs. That's the page that brings in work in January.
- Replacement and new-install pages with the brands you install, and the question everyone asks first answered up top: how long will it take?
- A link to your Google reviews, and your license number where it can be seen. A live review feed is an integration, quoted first.
What it costs
If you want a page per service and a site you can update when prices change, Business at $5,900 fits better than Launch. A smaller crew does fine on Launch at $1,490: home, repair, maintenance, service area, contact.
Cleaning company websites
Cleaning clients shop differently. They compare a few companies, often in the evening, and ask more than one for a quote. The site that makes asking easy is the one that gets asked.
What the site must have
- A quote form that asks for the three things you need to price a job (bedrooms, bathrooms, how often) and nothing else. Every extra field costs you someone.
- Regular cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out, each on its own page. Each one with a plain list of what you do and, just as useful, what you won't touch.
- A Spanish version if your customers speak it, or your crew does. Around here it tends to be both.
- No per-lead fee. Requests from your own site go straight to you; that's the whole point of owning one instead of renting leads.
What it costs
Launch at $1,490 covers home, three cleaning pages and contact, in English. Add Spanish and you're looking at Business Plus, $8,900: a custom site of up to ten pages that includes the second language, with translations you approve.
Pool service websites
Pool service is a route business. You don't want any customer; you want the house two doors down from one you already clean. So the service area ends up mattering as much as the service.
What the site must have
- A weekly-service page that says what a visit actually involves, how the customer hears it happened (a photo, a text, a checklist tucked in the gate) and what pushes the monthly price up or down.
- A repairs page for pumps, filters and heaters with the call button on top, because nobody with a dead pump in July wants to fill out a form.
- A monsoon section on that same repairs page. The day after a storm, people go looking for green-pool cleanups, and the page that already exists is the one that's ready.
- A service-area list that goes down to the neighborhood, not just the city, so a homeowner in Scottsdale or Gilbert finds their own on it.
What it costs
Launch at $1,490 suits a route business. Home, weekly service, repairs, service area, contact; that's your five pages, with the monsoon section living on repairs.
Landscaper websites
Landscaping sells with pictures, so the site is mostly your own photos. The work is in sorting them, so that someone who wants pavers finds pavers and sees you've laid them before.
What the site must have
- A gallery split by the kind of job: desert landscaping, pavers, irrigation, turf, cleanups. One before-and-after pair will do more than anything we could write.
- A maintenance page for the mowing, trimming and seasonal cleanups, saying how you price it, per visit or per month, and which towns you'll drive to.
- An installs page that walks a homeowner through how a project goes, first walk-through to last paver, so they know what they're asking for before they ask.
- A Spanish version for crews and customers who prefer it, and a quote form that asks for the yard size and the job, and lets people text you a photo.
What it costs
Launch at $1,490 covers home, maintenance, installs, gallery and contact. For a Spanish version you need Business Plus at $8,900: a custom site of up to ten pages that includes a second language.
Handyman websites
A handyman site has a problem the other trades don't: people aren't sure what you'll take on. Answer that before they call and you save yourself the calls you didn't want.
What the site must have
- A plain list of the jobs you take and a shorter one of the jobs you don't. Name them. Drywall, doors, fixtures, TV mounts, that flat-pack wardrobe nobody wants to assemble.
- How you charge, in a sentence: by the hour, by the job, or a minimum call-out. People who can't tell go to the next site.
- Photos of finished work, even the small stuff. A shelf that's level and a wall you can't tell was patched convince more than any stock toolbox.
- The towns you cover and the days you work, so a Sunday request from Peoria doesn't land in your inbox for nothing.
What it costs
Launch at $1,490 covers it: home, the jobs you take with your pricing, photos of your work, service area, and a contact page with click-to-call and a quote form.

Questions from home-service owners
How much does a plumber or HVAC website cost in Phoenix?
Same as anywhere else we work, since the prices are published. A five-page Launch site is $1,490 one-time, or nothing down and 12 payments of $149 ($1,788 in total). A custom Business site, with a page per service and an editor so you can change things yourself, is $5,900. Business Plus is $8,900 and adds a Spanish version. Whatever you pick, the quote is fixed and in writing before anyone starts.
Do I need a page for every service I offer?
Not every one. One per thing people search for. "Water heater repair" and "drain cleaning" are two different searches, so they do better as two pages. Launch gives you five pages, which means we pick the five that earn their keep for your trade; Business goes up to ten.
Will the site get me into the Google Maps results?
Honest answer: mostly not the site. The map pack runs on your Google Business Profile, your reviews and where the person searching happens to be standing. What the site does is back the profile up, same business name, same phone number, same service area, and give Google clear service pages to read. At launch we fill in your Business Profile with your services, service area, hours and photos, add a review link and connect Search Console. You create and verify the profile, so it stays yours. If you work at customers' homes, no street address is shown. We don't promise rankings, and you should walk away from anyone who does.
Can the site be in English and Spanish?
Yes, on Business Plus ($8,900), which includes a second-language version. The Spanish text comes from you, or you approve the translation your quote names, before it goes live.
How long does it take?
A Launch site is live within 7 days of us getting your content, which means the logo, photos, the services you offer and your license details. Business usually runs 3 to 4 weeks. The clock starts when the content lands, so the fastest sites are the ones whose owners send photos on day one.
My site is rented from an agency. Can you replace it?
Yes, with one that's yours. The domain and the Google accounts are opened in your name on day one, and the code and content become yours once paid in full. We plan the switch together so the old site stays up until the new one is ready. One catch: if the old agency holds your domain, you'll have to ask them for it back, so read the contract for notice periods before you give notice.
